Spam or Real Email?
Jun 12 2008
The skeptic in me says “I’ve never heard of this entity before,” “seems fishy,” “never heard of the award before,” “why did they send it to sales@ - a spam-related email.”
But the optimist in me thinks maybe there is 5% validity to this award.
Should I be a skeptic or think it’s real. Please comment below to tell me your thoughts.

“As an Award recipient, there is no requirement to join the USLBA. We simply ask each award recipient to pay for the cost of their plaque.”
I’m guessing spam. I dare you to pay for a plaque and then tell us what you think.

Spam. Simple answer. Unwanted, unexpected email. Forget the fact (although it is VERY hard for me to do) that they have a TERRIBLE from name and an even worse “Sales@”….

I’d guess SPAM too. I just got one for my company for “software”. Except we don’t write software.
As much as I’d like to accept the reward for my hard efforts, I think I’ll have to pass…

What a great scam. Using computer list searching, they must send out thousands of these “best of…” notices. How many people send in the $80 to get the plaque to hand in their window or lobby? Probably lots. Kind of harmless, but not based on any valid selection process.
I kind of wish I had thought of something as simple, profitable and relatively harmless as this fakery. Then I would not have to keep working to be “best” of anything.
