KillROI on the move in California

Thursday, May 14th, 2009

KillROI, once again, has found a way to see the world and document his adventures.  This time he was off to watch the AMGEN Tour of California bike race.  His method of stowing away wasn’t glamorous but it got the job done.

Once discovered, KillROI showed his support for Lance Armstrong and, always the ham, posed for pictures.

When the race was coming to an end, KillROI, showed his appreciation for the intense athleticism of the bikers with a standing ovation and cheers.

Where will he go next?  We will just have to wait and see.

KillROI Adventures thru Client Eyes

Tuesday, January 20th, 2009

KillROI has been a busy robot, checking out the scenes that Portland has to offer.  Thanks to Nancy’s creative use of her camera and for sending us the hilarious photos, we are able to share those adventures with you.  Here is what Nancy had to say about KillROI’s adventures:

We’ve had a lot of fun touring around Old Town Chinatown, KillROI’s home (and mine).

From a First Thursday event at ANKA Gallery, to the Steel Bridge and the Portland Classical Chinese Garden, KillROI took it all in stride.

On a tour of the Central Library’s eco-roof, KillROI proved to have no fear of heights, and on a snowshoe trek to Mt. Hood’s Trillium Lake, KillROI conquered a mountain of snow.

My personal favorite is the “where’s waldo” version–the hood of an art car. Where next?  Only the Shadow knows . . . .

Thanks again Nancy and we look forward to what lies ahead for our good friend KillROI!

Christmas is coming, the Goose is getting FAT

Monday, December 15th, 2008

…time to put a penny in the old man’s hat.  Sorry – inside joke among friends here.

But, back to the point at hand here.  KillROI is mixing it up with some Christmas dignitaries in my house. It’s getting a little out of control here as this guy really gets around – hanging with some Nutcracker royalty, then he makes his way onto the Christmas Tree hanging with Big Bird, and now, he’s chilling with our angel – don’t get any ideas.  I’ve been a bad boy with missing a couple Haiku Mondays recently, so let’s get our groove on with haikus about KillROI. Comment with a passion below.

KillROI is Breeding

KillROI seems to be multiplying all over the country.  First – our friends at Bonnier Corporation sent us this disturbing photo:

Then, KillROI was spotted all over eROI – check out the following photos – very regal:

Haiku Monday: New eROI Days Ritual

Monday, October 20th, 2008

I’m a huge fan of a quintessential Oregon entity called Live Wire! Radio – a mix of edgy humor, music, and Garrison Keillor-style story-telling and political humor. My wife and I went to the show w/ other folks from eROI and one distinct thing that they do at every show is the Audience Haiku.  Let me preface this blog post by saying that I am clearly no poet, haiku expert.  In fact, they may be so bad, that they are laughable.  But, it’s Monday morning and I want to have you, my loyal blog readers, participate a little more and inspire me with some of your haikus.  Here are only two ground rules – 1. it’s got to be as close as possible to 5 syllables, 7 syllables, 5 syllables; 2. theme can be edgy, vulgar, random, whatever, but NO excessive swearing please.  Let the absurd poetry of haiku begin.

cold as hell on my red bike
I am refreshed

of Halloween begins and

Yellow leaves cascade
slick as banana peels squish

Now, it’s your turn.  Comment with your haiku – you could win a free eROI collectible gift of a robot named KillROI – the famous hero in www.KillSpammer.com!

killROI Emerges Eerily from the Minds of eROI

Wednesday, December 12th, 2007

killROI is our new hero (and a weird coincedence, “eROI” in Italian means hero). The credit goes to our design team and Flash guru who concepted the yellow robot/alien design on the body of a HazMaPo vinyl adult toy (don’t let your mind stray) made by our client Unkl Brand.

killROI is cool.
He kills spam. (Check out KillSpammer.com to see what I’m talking about).

If you are in the email marketing world at all, you have an obligation to kill as much spam as possible at KillSpammer.com. Watch out for the Viagra – it’s lethal.
